This is one of the wood cases that was packed by Persons Majestic Co; it contained 16 of the undercarriages. The stencil printing on one side of the wood crate is the same text that is printed on the string tags; one string tag is attached to each undercarriage. The METHOD III may have had something to do with the government approval for Persons Majestic to produce these undercarriages which appear to be painted the flat army dark green color. The wood case is also stenciled with INSP-6 AND SNL-G. The INSP-6 most likely had something to do with the Inspector. The PKD SRA 1/56 appears to me to mean the wood cases were packed in 1956; if my guess is correct then these undercarriages were produced for war time bikes but never used (maybe because the war ended). The dimensions of the case are 34 3/4 x 15 x 8 1/2 inches.
