Stein #1534.a
The illustration is of a bicycle-built-for-five (quint) but it has eight riders aboard! The two policemen at the front of the quint are quite surprised. The text at the top of the illustration is; ORIGINAL - RADLERSEIDEL. The text at the bottom is; WIR SPAREN SPRIT - WIR FAHREN RAD - WIR BLEIBEN FIT! The lid has a Reich brand bell built into it; I suppose so you can RING for the server to bring you another drink. On the top of the lid is an embossed image of Saint Christopher with embossed text; ASPICE CHRISTOPHORUM - ET TUTUS VIAM CARPE. There is another stein in this collection that is identical to this one except the lid is plain (without the bell or the St. Christopher & text image). [Item# Stein-1534.a]
