| This is a c1890s Pocket Road Map of the Northern Part of New Jersey with the CYCLING ROUTES SHOWN BY RED LINES. It was published by the Geo. H. Walker & Co of Boston, MA. The front cover bears the text JOIN THE L.A.W. AND RIDE THE GOOD ROADS. This image is of the front & back outside covers while the Pocket Map is unfolded. The outside back cover lists several other Pocket Road Maps that are available including: (1) New York, to Albany (Hudson River District), (2) Long Island (Cyclists), (3) Albany District (Cyclists), (4) and many others in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island & New England. Unfortunately I do not have any of the other mentioned Pocket Maps in my collection. The dimensions when folded are 3.5 x 8 inches. The full dimensions of the map when unfolded are 26.5x30.75 inches. | This is edition 1897 containing the principal tours in the adjoining states of New York & Pennsylvania. Issued by the Road Book Committee, map work by Frank H. Taylor. There are 79 maps (bike routes) showing the `best` streets & roads as well as the `fair` streets & roads on each route guide. Plus there are many other pages in this book describing the routes.
