| Cloisonne pendant with the Campagnolo logo. The details are so sharp that you can read the letters 'KUCH' on the leg of the shorts. A little history; KUCH represents KUCHARIK, a small custom manufacturer of cycling clothing, located in Gardena, California (www.kucharik.com). The company was founded by John Kucharik and his wife Martha; they started by sewing in their home. They augmented their business by starting a bike shop in Torrance, CA (at 5023 Pacific Coast Hiwy) in the early 1960's. Howie wrote the opening order for the bikes and supplies for the new store. At the time, their son, John Jr. and daughter, Debbie, were sitting around the kitchen table with John Sr., Martha and Howie, as we discussed the selection of products and costs. John Jr. now manages the company which is located on Western Avenue in Gardena, CA.
