You probably wonder why there is a print of three (3) Doberman Pinscher dogs in the collection. Well, almost anyone who was associated with Howie & Kay during the Everything Bicycle era was well aware of our sweet pets, Keira, Fillamina (Filly) and Tootsie. This poster is a likeness of our three pets. The poster is #407/500 and was signed by the artist, Marcia Van Woert in 1986. The dimensions of the print are 20 x 16 inches and the frame is 28 x 24 inches. Our first Dobie was Keira and we acquired her because Linn Kastan (founder of Redline and a good friend) had his Dobie `Tara`. Linn told us what a good friend Tara was for his entire family and gave us the contact information for Marjorie, the breeder in NH. We contacted Marjorie & acquired Keira. Then after a couple of years we acquired Philly and Tootsie; the souls of all three of them are now in a better place. In 2005 our niece, Jennifer (from Oklahoma) told Kay that her Dobie, had a litter and one of the female pups was perfect for us. Jennifer convinced Kay that we should take the pup and that Jen would raise the pup and give it some basic training after-which she would bring it to us in Breckenridge. We named the pup `Mika` and Jen did a masterful job with her, then brought Mika to us in October of 2005. Mika`s looks are a cross between Keira and Filly, and she is a wonderful friend (she has one ear up and one down). She loves to socialize with people and other animals. She brings us a great deal of joy. Written in December 2007.
