 | | Since Howie Cohen's passing, no items are for sale. | | We (West Coast Cycle Supply Co.) were the west coast distributor for Trelleborg Tires & Tubes imported from Sweden. We also served as the west coast warehouse for the Trelleborg Bowling Balls which we shipped in accordance with instructions from the Trelleborg USA office in New Rochelle, NY. The manager of the USA office was Mr. Molinet (aka Molly). There was also a Mr. Askblad in NY. This image is of one sheet from a `Want List` booklet that we gave to our customers (the retail bicycle stores) so they could write down the items which they wanted to order from us on the next occasion of placing an order. When our salesmen visited a Store, one of the first things he/she did was to start the `sales order sheet` with the items that the customer had written in the booklet. |

A telegram from Trelleborg in New Rochell, NY to my father dated July 12, 1963 when dad was in the hospital. Unfortunately dad passed away on December 18, 1963. It was a shock and loss to our entire family and to the bicycling community and industry at large. |
