Wald supplied distributors and bike dealers with so many of the items needed to operate a successful bike shop in the early years of the 1940s ~ 1960s. The Wald #700 repair tag is just one example. These were sold to bike shops by many different distributors throughout the USA. They were packed 500 per inner box and 20 such boxes in a master shipping carton. Wald also supplied the trade with soft lead pencils (they were shipped free of charge, packed within cartons of Wald wire baskets.
