| | This attractive Schwinn Electric Sign belongs to Luke DeNitto in November of 2010. Luke has a rather large collection of classic/vintage bicycles & memorabilia in his Southern California home. Luke acquired this sign from a Bicycle Dealer in Marshfield, WI where it hung since the 1960`s until a recent storm took it down. It was a double sided sign but only one side survived the storm. Luke built a light box out of 1 x 6 pine and backed it with 1/4 inch plywood (luan); it is nailed and glued. The bulbs are 4 foot long T5 fluorescent. The inside of the box is painted white to yield even illumination. The sign is shown here displayed in Luke & Kandis` living room with the Falcon Ordinary (Penny Farthing).
