AVAILABLE TO SELL, A REPRODUCTION SIZE 20 x 30 inches. This is one of the original posters that New Departure sent to Bike Shops for POP`s (point of purchase display). The dimensions are 16 x 25 inches. The text under the photo is; `U.S. Marine parachute troops load sections of a bicycles into a transport plane at the Naval Air Station field, Lakehurst, N.J., prior to an experimental leap with the bicycle. The leap with the sectional bicycle was a purley experimental one. If the idea prooves to be acceptable, a marine parachutist armed with a tommy gun would ride the bicycle behind the enemy line`. It is obvious to me from this poster, the previous ones and the next few, that New Departure was very passionate about the World War II. efforts.
