 | | Since Howie Cohen's passing, no items are for sale. | | The picture on this c.1930`s (early) large size poster is of four generations of one family; (L to R) Louise Lammens age 5 1/2, Mrs. Mary Lemmens age 27, Mrs. Louise Wastyn age 47, Mrs. Mary Wastyn age 82. New Departure distributed posters to retail bicycle stores for point of purchase advertising. There were several different designs in this series. New Departure Coaster Brakes were invented by Harry Townsend & the Rockwell brothers (Albert & Edward) while they were employed by the New Departure Manufacturing Company. The dimensions are 16 x 25 inches. The condition is very poor due to tears & some missing pieces. |
