 | | Since Howie Cohen's passing, no items are for sale. | | This paperweight is beveled glass etched with the name Teel Inc and a road bicycle (complete with the four CPSC approved reflectors). The dimensions are 3 3/4 x 4 1/2 inches, it is 11/16 inch thick. There is a chip at the top. A little history; Teel, Inc. was one of the leading `quiet` companies in the bicycle industry in the 1970`s through the end of the 1990`s. The president, Taka Nieda, is a personable and capable gentleman who assisted many companies in the industry. Teel was deeply involved with Everything Bicycles, Redline, Murray, Dia-Compe, Sugino, SunTour, Taihei, McMahon Racing,and many more. The brand name `Peregrine`, which was very popular in the BMX and freestyle segments was owned and developed/distributed by Teel. |
