Bill and Co of Los Angeles which was acquired by Phil Mole Sr in the late 1930`s or early 1940`s and operated by him and his three children (Pete, Phil Jr. and Katie) plus a few other employees including Bill Kindig (warehouse manager). Pete and Howie are long time business associates and friends, Howie`s father, Leo, did a considerable amount of business with the John T. Bill Co starting in the year 1947. The Bill Co was well respected by the majority of bicycle dealers in southern California. They distributed Columbia and Olmo bicycles (and other brands including Rollfast & Raleigh) and a wide selection of parts and accessories. The brass material of this bade is etched. The height is 2 3/4 inches. |
