EXCELSIOR (I need some information, please) Item# NP-e-909 [NP-e-909] Categories: Nameplates (Head Badges),     Since Howie Cohen's passing, no items are for sale. I am not certain this item belongs in the nameplate section, or for that matter whether or not it is a bicycle item or even if it belonged to the Excelsior Cycle Co. I acquired it with a small collection of nameplates purchased many years ago. I will be appreciative if anyone can shed light on this subject. The material is metal (tin) and is shaped like a bracelet (preformed in almost a semicircle) that might fit around the circumfrence of a headtube. The photo shows one of the item flattened, but I have several that are in the preformed shape. The word `LOCK F,` appears in small letters at the top-center, just above the shield-banner.
