A medal produced by The Wheelmen (I believe the PA Chapter) to commemorate the 200th birthday of the United States. Notice the dates 1876 and 1976 with July at the top of the wheel. Also notice the year 1776 on the bell and that the top of the eagle`s wings is a handlebar for an Ordinary. There is some text designed onto the handlebar; on one side the text is `THE WHEELMEN`. On the other side the text is not clear enough for me to read so I am requesting a member of The Wheelmen to tell me the text. The diameter of the wheel is 1 9/16 inches, the wing span is 2 3/16 inches and the overall length is 4 1/2 inches. |
