AVAILABLE TO SELL, I HAVE A FEW DUPLICATES! A large medal cold forged by Dia-Compe (Yoshigai Kikai Kinzoku) in Osaka, Japan. Dia-Compe was famous for producing high quality forged alloy components including; caliper brakes, handlebar stems and other parts. The material is light alloy and is plated a gold color. The front design is a character of a man riding a Star High Wheel Bicycle while giving the peace sign; it also contains WCCSC-1972 which represents West Coast Cycle Supply Co and commemorates the 1972 WCCSC Cyclerama Show (a trade show for our Dealer`s and Suppliers). There is also text on the reverse side; see the picture gallery. The diameter is 69.5mm (2 3/4 inches), the thickness is 5mm. This medal is presented in a vinyl display easel which can be placed on a table or hung on a wall. I use one of these on my desk as an attractive paper weight. A small hole can be drilled so it can be worn with a chain as a medallion.

The reverse side with text: (1) The Dia-Compe Logo, (2) DROP FORGING SPECIALIST and (3) WCCSC-1972. This picture causes the medal to appear to be silver because of the lighting that I used. The finish is actually gold color.

A view of the medal as it is packaged in the easel which can be placed on a desk or table top; or hung on the wall. The easel is imprinted with the Dia-Compe logo at the top and the WCC logo at the bottom. The dimensions of the easel are 5 x 6 1/4 inches; there is an 'easel support' on the back for standing or hanging the easel.
