Since Howie Cohen's passing, no items are for sale.
This is one of the six panels of the tri-fold brochure which was published by The Longmont Museum and Cultural Center. The brochure was distributed widely in the Boulder County and Denver areas. The museum did an exhibit of bicycles and the history of bicycles and bicycling which was on display from April 24, 2010 to July 3, 2010. About 18 items from Howie`s collection were used. Other collectors who`s items were exhibited included: Dan & Cheri LePro, Jeff Nye, Ron Keifel (Wheat Ridge Cyclery), Peter Chisolm (Vecchios Cycles), Doug Emerson (University Bikes), Brad Evans (Kickstand Magazine), John Siegrist (Dean Bicycles), Marianne Martin, Rick Emerson (Bike-N-Hike), Andy Hampsten, Jacob Castillo (Panda Bicycles), Vance Sprock (Cupertino Bike Shop), Bryan Harrell, Charlie Kelly, Andy Pruitt, and several others.
The display was beautifully and professionally exhibited; any museum would be proud to show an exhibit as excellent as this. There are many small museums located in cities throughout the United States; I encourage you to contact the curator or manager of a museum near you and suggest that they consider hosting an exhibit of bicycles and transportation in their facility.
The beautiful bike on the front cover belongs to Dan & Cheri LePro; it is a 1934 Schwinn Aerocycle. The tricycle is a reproduction of a 1938 Sky King tricycle.
