An Amateur racing license issued in 1971 by the ABL of A (Amateur Bicycle League of America) to me (Howie Cohen). The license actually has four (4) sides when it is folded as it would be when carried in a wallet or purse. I never was a racer but I was a proud member of the Montrose Cycle Club and did go on several Club Rides. I attended dozens of road & track races as a spectator & supporter of the team guys & gals. My company sponsored the Montrose Cycle Club for many years. Bob Enright was the Southern California ABL of A representative at the time and his signature is on the license. Bob Hansing, then owner of the Montrose Bike Shop was the spearhead of the Club; he was a very strong supporter & contributor of cycling in general and bicycle racing. The dimensions of the license are 2 5/8 x 3 3/8 inches when folded. See the picture gallery for a view of the other 3 sides.
