"Official Organ of the League of American Wheelmen". Circulation (paid) of this issue was 70,195 copies. This is published weekly on Fridays by the League of American Wheelmen, Sterling Elliott, Managing editor, located at 530 Atlantic Ave., Boston, Mass. Associate Editors were Nixon Waterman and Joe Lincoln. An illustrated weekly magazine devoted to the improvement of the public roads and streets, containing stories from bicyclists about their rides and love of bicycling, bicycle racing as well as stories and illustrations about the need and development of better roads across the United States. This is a very valuable reference material, it is full of advertisements from bike mfgr's, parts/sundry mfgr's and bicycle retailers; some of the companies advertising are not well known to historians and collectors. There are many illustrations that can be photocopied. The number of pages will vary with each different issue. The condition is very good. The dimensions are 6 5/8 x 9 5/8 inches.
