Kyowa Sangyo was related to Kyowa Rubber Co who produced and exported the Million Brand (1,000,000) line of bicycle tires and tubes. Our family company, WCCSC, purchased and distributed these tires & tubes starting in about 1957. We purchased the line from a USA agent, Amos Sherwin, a very nice guy and good businessman. In the 1960`s when I began going to Japan for the bicycle business I developed a personal relationship with Kyowa. This image is an advert on page-205 from a 1952 magazine (book), the Japan Bicycle Guide.
