Kyowa Rubber Co produced and exported the Million Brand (1,000,000) line of bicycle tires and tubes. Our family company, WCCSC, purchased and distributed these tires & tubes starting in about 1957. We purchased the line from a USA agent, Amos Sherwin, a very nice guy and good businessman. In the 1960`s when I began going to Japan for the bicycle business I developed a personal relationship with Kyowa. This image is an advert from a 1952 magazine, the Japan Bicycle Guide.
