| | Marco Yokoyama was the managing director of Kuwahara Cycle Co. Howie`s relationship with Marco began in the late 1960s when Kuwahara began producing Azuki brand bikes for WCCSC. In the late 1970s the directors of Kuwahara decided to expand their sales of Kuwahara brand bicycles at which time Marco asked Howie if he would help to promote the Kuwahara brand (WCC had been quite successful in promoting the sales & popularity of Nishiki & Azuki bicycles. An agreement was reached between Kuwahara (Marco) and Everything Bicycles (Howie) and then we started the marketing of Kuwahara brand bicycles on a worldwide basis.
