 | | Since Howie Cohen's passing, no items are for sale. | | A letter dated April 11, 1963 from H.M. Huffman (aka `Huffy`) to Dr. Roland C. Geist regarding a post card dated April-8th wherein Geist suggested that Huffman Mfg. Co. (the Bicycle Company) write a book on Bicycle Paths and Cycle Touring. On April 10, 1963, Geist wrote a letter to Huffy and enclosed the Geist outline for such a book. Huffy had written (published) a handbook on Bicycle Tracks and Cycle Racing (a copy of which is in this collection; it is #B-339 in the category Books-Contemporary). The dimensions of the Huffy stationary letterhead are 7 1/4 x 10 1/2 inches. The letterhead is embossed in the upper left corner with the Huffy logo (large H with the word HUFFY within an oval).
