AVAILABLE TO SELL, I HAVE A FEW DUPLICATES! (The cost for S&H to a USA address is $7.50 for from one to four posters, $13.50 to a foreign country). This is the official poster approved by Universal Studios, Inc. It was produced for Everything Bicycles in 1982. The dimensions are 23 x 35 inches. The bicycle shown is the official approved bike, a replica of the bike that Elliot rode in the ET movie. A little history; Everything Bicycles was selected to produce and supply the bicycles for the ET movie because of the popularity of Kuwahara brand BMX bikes. The studio gave us art boards for the paint and sticker design; we took Kuwahara frames from our USA inventory and had them painted according to the required colors and had the special stickers custom made, which we applied in our Torrance, CA facility; we then assembled the bikes using component parts from inventory. A kid named Robert Cardoza (now a fine young man; I saw him a few years ago at the Interbike Show), who often times helped us at EB, was involved in the project. One day while we were at the shooting site the Studio guys asked if my aunt Shirley (who was at the site with our youngest son, Randy) would drive my car down the street as a background scene. Soooo. . . if you watch the movie closely, you will see my red 1981 Caddy zooming down the street with aunt Shirley at the wheel and son Randy riding gunshot (it`s in the scene at the park). By the way Randy is now an adult and a partner in a graphic arts firm, and he designed the masthead of this website. He also modeled for one of the full page E.T. advertisements which were published in the BMX magazines. Bob Osborn (aka OZ), then owner of BMX Action Magazine (Wizard Publications) wrote and published a few stories about the movie. When you see the `credits` listed on the screen at the end of the movie, you will see `Everything Bicycles` listed because of our involvement and cooperation. It was a great pleasure working with them.
