A PROFESSIONALLY REPRODUCED REPRINT IS AVAILABLE TO SELL! THE PRINTER REPRODUCED THIS CATALOG IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT IS DIFFICULT TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ORIGINAL AND REPRODUCTION. The American Waltham Mfg Co was not related to the Waltham Mfg Co of Waltham, Mass. I am not certain of the year of this catalog and it is incomplete. One of the pages features the attributes of the Simpson Lever Chain and includes mention of a Simson Hub Sprocket. There is the front and back covers, printed on both sides and page 21 and 22. Page 22 illustrates Messinger anatomic saddles with a cut-out in the center (the cut-out is covered with a mesh material). Bob Messinger was the president of Messinger Saddle Co in the 1950`s and 1960`s. Howie purchased saddles from them for parts & accessories (P/A) sales at West Coast Cycle. The condition of the original is poor, the dimensions are; original 8 x 5 1/4 inches, reproduction 7 3/4 x 5 1/8 inches, photo #066-1.

The caption is; 'Gertie E. Brown, A Waltham Artist who rides a Waltham Comet'. On the bottom of the page is a rubber stamp with the text; 'The Miner & Fisk Co'. I do not think that this Fisk has any relationship to the Fisk Tire Co which was a major supplier to the bicycle industry in the 1950's and later.
