| | Dan LePro advises that Haverford Cycle Co. was established in 1896. This catalog does not have a date but we think it is from the early 1920's or maybe earlier. I would appreciate any information a viewer has about Black Beauty so we can put a specific date on this catalog. This is a 16-page catalog featuring their bikes of the year and Haverford 503 high pressure tires having two plies of heavy fabric made of carefully selected, long staple cotton frictioned with pure rubber. The front of the catalog has a rubber stamp with the name and address of Haverford Cycle Co. of Philadelphia, PA. The condition is very good and the dimensions are 6 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches. Photo #007 |
