| Torelli Imports was founded and managed by Bill & Carol McGann. The company distributed bicycles, parts & accessories to retail bicycle stores. Bill was a cat-1 bike racer and operated a retail bicycle store for several years before they changed to the distribution side of the industry. The main focus of the company was to sell European products specializing in Italian made bicycles, parts & accessories. However they also distributed some Japanese and American made products. A few of the product lines of bicycles and/or related parts-accessories they distributed include: Mondonico, Torelli, Masi, Campagnolo, Shimano, Modolo, Clark, Vittoria, Velox, Wheelsmith, Cinelli, 3ttt, Ciclolinea, Selle San Marco, Italmanubri, Selle Italia, Elite, Gipiemme, Sachs, Silca, Control Tech, Vuelta, SR Sakae Ringyo, and more. They published a quarterly Mailer/Catalog/Brochure/Price List for bicycle store retailers starting in September 1983; it was mailed to hundreds of bicycle retail dealers.
