The John T. Bill Co. was one of the most respected bicycle wholesale distributors in Southern California for many, many years. The company was founded in 1894 by Mr. Bill and later acquired by Phil Mole Sr. The Mole family managed the business until the bicycle industry took many changes and the family decided it was time to liquidate the company and sell their valuable property. Pete Mole, who managed the company after his father retired is still active within the bicycle industry; as of 2012 he is a full time consultant for Dahon Bicycles.
