Cannondale`s initial product offering to the bicycle industry was a trailer in the early 1970`s; the model name was the Bugger. I recall that Joe Montgomery visited us at WCCSC and my brother, Leo Jr. felt this product would be a winner so he ordered 300 (or maybe it was 600) units which entitled us to be a distributor for Cannondale. Cannondale later began production of high quality bicycles. . .the rest of the story is history. Additional text & pictures pending.
