This magnificent book was published for The Discount Tire Company (www.discounttire.com). The poster collection was started by the founder and chairman, Bruce T. Halle. The company`s curator, *Susan Driver, is credited with giving expert information about these wonderful pieces of art and for acquiring some of the collection; she also signed this book to Howie on the Title Page. This is a 249-page hard cover (copyright 2007) book (first edition) illustrating 264 of the many posters that were produced advertising tires (for bicycles, motorcycles and automobiles)* in the nineteenth century and early 20th century. The dimensions are 10 x 11 3/4 inches, the condition is mint (new). See the picture gallery for a few of the images relating to bicycle tires.
