This was a limited printing of 1000 copies. The authors sifted through the nearly 1000 pages of the original text (two volumns) and have chosen passages that they hope will give the reader the most accurate feel for the Thomas Stevens adventure, condensed into 133 pages. Every word in the body of this book was written by Thomas Stevens. Lon Haldeman, the famous ultra marathon cross country cyclist, wrote the 'Forward' page. Carl A. Minor wrote the Preface.
