 | | Since Howie Cohen's passing, no items are for sale. | | This item brings back many memories to me. My father brought this back from England in the 1950`s after visiting the Raleigh factory in Nottingham. We purchased our private label `Meteor` and `Royal Scot` brand bicycles from Raleigh. Eric Thomas, Alan Heason are two names that come to my mind as I write this. Unfortunately my father was a heavy smoker, as was my mother. Because I wanted to emulate them I became a 4-pack per day smoker until about age 25 at which time I completely gave up the nasty habit. This ashtray was on my fathers desk until he passed away after which I used it for several years. The dimensions are; 4 1/2 inches diameter and 4 1/4 inches tall. |
