| Mesinger Mfg Co maker of bicycle seats used this Marilyn Monroe image on this commemorative ashtray for their 85th Anniversary (see the picture gallery). Richard Avedon, the famous photographer, photographed four (4) of the 19th century `vamps`. This original painting by Cal Baily is of the photograph of Marilyn Monroe posing as Lillian Russell. Acquired by Howie in the 1960`s during the Bicycle Trade Show held in downtown Los Angeles at the Biltmore Hotel. The dimensions of the frame are 45 x 56 inches, the painting is approximately 36 x 48 inches. The photograph has been widely exposed in various publications including the front cover of LIFE Magazine.
