THIS ITEM IS AVAILABLE TO SELL!  Richard Avedon (1923~2004), the famous photographer, photographed Marilyn Monroe posing as four (4) of the 19th century `vamps`.  This original painting by Cal Baily is of the photograph of Marilyn Monroe posing as Lillian Russell.  Acquired by Howie in the 1960`s during the Bicycle Trade Show held in downtown Los Angeles at the Baltimore Hotel.  The dimensions of the frame are 45 x 56 inches, the painting is approximately 36 x 48 inches. The photograph has been widely exposed in various publications including the front cover of LIFE Magazine. I have three (3) T-Shirts with a reproduction heat transfer of this art and some additional memorabilia relating to this painting.  Mesinger Mfg Co (bicycle seats) used this image on a commemorative ashtray for their 85th Anniversary (see the picture gallery).
