The text within the arrow shaft is ARROW CYCLE MFG. CO. INDIANAPOLIS, IND. Produced by Whitehead & Hoag Co. of Newark, N.J., which is engraved on the back of the button hole tab together with the text `PAT APP`D FOR`. The color of the face is eggshell white with black printing. There are eleven tiny blemishes around the feather of the arrow and on the backside of the celluloid. The shaft attaching the button hole stud to the back of the pin is slightly bent.
