A 76-page elegant hard cover book covering the history of the Olympic Games through the U.S. Postal Service stamp issues. This book also tells the story of postage stamps relative to the Olympic Games. The sixteen 1984 Olympic postage stamps were designed by famous artist, Robert Peak. There are more than two dozen of Peak's works of athletes reproduced in this book, including one of Daniel Morelon, the great French sprinter. The dimensions are 12 3/4 x 11 3/8 inches, the condition is mint. See the picture gallery and also the category of 'STAMPS' in this collection.

Page-44, an article about Daniel Morelon, the great French sprint champion. Notice the Commemorative stamp at the top of the page. I watched Morelon race several times at the Encino Velodrome, where I was very active in the late 1950's and early 1960's. I was one of the eight guys that worked tirelessly to get the Encino Velodrome constructed. The other guys, who worked even more than me were; Bob Hansing, Charlie Morton, Jack Kemp, Gerry Mullrooney, and 3 others whose names slip me at this moment. Joel Davis and his father were responsible for the first lighting system that were installed.
