Falcon Cycles (aka Coventry Eagle Cycles) was owned by Mr. A. Douglas Mayo, a very British gentleman. They produced beautiful lightweight racing bikes at the time. They produced 100 High Wheel Bicycles for us and we sold them to Bicycle Dealers throughout the USA. The facility was in Birmingham and was quite old. WCC sold hundreds (maybe thousands) of the models Black Diamond and San Remo Falcon bicycles. We ordered both models in an assortment of colors and frame sizes. In 1964 Howie spent a week at the factory and a few days at Mr. May`s country farm. I also visited Raleigh and Dawes during the same trip to England.
