| Oscar Wastyn Sr. took over the bike business in the mid 1930`s which was founded in 1910 by his father, Emil. Oscar Seniors son, Oscar Jr. took over the business when Oscar Sr. passed away. Presently (in 2009) Scott (4th generation), who is the son of Oscar Jr. is managing the business which is located at 2634 Fullerton Ave., Chicago, IL 60607. Many thanks to Bill Bina for supplying me with this valuable information. The dimensions are 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. See the picture gallery. A little more history about Oscar Wastyn Cycles; Emil prided himself on his craftsmanship and commitment to his customer. Emil designed and built the original Schwinn Paramount bicycle for the Schwinn Co. Oscar Sr. continued to build the Paramount bicycle for Schwinn as well as the `Wastyn Special Race Bikes` for professional 6-day riders throughout the country. I seem to remember meeting & talking with Oscar Jr & his lovely wife at various Trade Shows where I was displaying our bicycles and supplies.
