| | This is Howie`s brother, Leo J. Cohen Jr. (1941-1990 RIP), riding on a Whizzer Pacemaker (with 20 inch wheels) in the parking lot across the street from our family bicycle store, Playrite Bicycle Supply at 227 E. 6th St. in L.A., California (the yellow color 2-unit building in the background). This is the second bicycle store that my parents purchased after moving to California from Mpls., MN. Leo was 15 years old in this photo. Although it is difficult to see in this reproduction of the picture, the word SCHWINN is painted on the top of the building and PLAYRITE is painted above the door. |
