Pages 6 and 7 (the centerfold, turned vertically so you can see larger type). The lower left advertisement for Atlas Bicycle Shop is the shop that Howie's parents purchased in the late 1940's or early 1950's. The manager of Atlas Bicycle Shop was Charlie Mullen; he moved to our bike shop located at 168 N. La Brea and worked there until he retired. The other ads on these pages bring back fond memories for Howie. These pages also contain (a) the names of the riders, (b) how they are teamed, (c) their colors for this event, and (d) their team affiliation.
