Thei is an incredible coincidence; while examining this book of over 500 pages, I opened by chance to this page-527 where I found this photo and story about Willie Spencer, a USA Champion from the 1922 era. My father hired Willie as a sales representative for our company in the mid 1950's. I recall this handsome man with silver hair and his stories about bicycle racing in years gone by. |
