(L to R) Hiroji Nishkawa-KKT Pedals, Howie Cohen-WCC, Kazuo Takai-a man of many hats. A little history: Takai-san guided Howie to over 60 bike factories in Japan during the time we were seeking a Japanese factory that had the ability to produce high quality bicycles for the USA market (in 1963). None of the 60 qualified in Howie's mind. On a subsequant trip, Howie was introduced to Kawamura Cycle Co and they did produce the first high quality bicycles exported from Japan, to WCC under the American Eagle brand.
