| This issue had a cover story about the Japan Cycle Show held in Tokyo, opening on April 16th. WCC visiting the Dia-Compe booth (Yoshigai Kikai Kinzoku). (L to R) Hideo Narita-DiaCompe, Paul Hinkston-WCC, Howie Cohen-WCC and Kiyokazu Yoshigai-DiaCompe. DiaCompe produced the highest quality caliper brakes in Japan. Their extension levers were very popular on entry level bikes with drop handlebars. | ||
