Bob Swaim (aka BOB THE BIKEMAN) is a collector of unique HPV`s (Human Powered Vehicles). His collection consists of several hundred different HPV`s, most of which can be said to fall into the class of bicycles (or bike-like vehicles). He claims to have the most unique collection of human powered vehicles in the world. Bob lives in Pennsylvania. He does shows/demonstrations (sometime up to 50 in a year); he will trailer a large group of his HPV`s to a venue (usually a park, school or college, or large parking area) where he demonstrates riding the vehicles and allows people from the audience to also ride some of the vehicles. Bob on his High Wheel Tricycle

more details

Bob's recumbent triplet with the rear stoker facing backwards. The captains position (that is Bob) is in the middle in an upright position. The two stokers, ages 93 & 91, ride on the ends. on June 3, 2012 these three cyclists rode this recumbent triplet 8-miles. Bob is claiming the Worlds Record for the oldest average age for an eight mile ride on a recumbent triplet, and he welcomes all challenges! Bob thinks there is only one other recumbent triplet in the world. Let me know if you are aware of any more of them.

more details

Bob's LOVE TANDEM TRICYCLE (notice the shape of the steering wheel). The fork for the front wheel has only one leg attached to the front axle.

more details

Bob's CONFERENCE CYCLE accommodates seven riders (pedalers) but only one of them does the steering. The cyclists can have a fun ride while they have a meeting! It appears that there are three sets of twins plus Bob on this ride.
